Sometimes hard to find the right port
Category not always intuitive
Two-level structure too inflexible
Over 250 ports under /usr/ports/japanese
Too many small files
Keyword database?

Size of entire collection enormous
Over 1GB for packages, 1.5GB for distfiles
Doesn't fit on single CD (installlation headache)
Stress on FTP mirrors (weekly 2GB+ updates)

Weak upgrade support
Only supports installing and deleting a single port
Updating dependencies a mess (A -> B -> C)
